The world today is one that has faced demands of civil, human, and migrant rights. This is because as much as we may like to believe that there is justice and fair treatment to all people, some parts of the world face a lacking on this.

However, some groups have come up, and they strive to advocate for these rights. Their sole reasons for formation is to see that human, civil and migrant rights are respected and adhered to. The following are some of such organizations:
Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA)
This group is California-based. The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, made the hiring of undocumented individuals illegal. It, in a way, appeared as exploitation and abuse of employees. Thus, CHIRLA was formed with the aim of advocating for the immigrant rights of individuals and families.

But how different are people if the sole reason for their existence is dedicated to downgrading the purpose and presence of others? This organization fights to ensure that immigrants are allowed settlement and treated fairly. It strives to achieve a society that accepts this group of people as a part.
The Advocates for Human Rights
This organization was formed in 1983. It is an independent and non-profit organization. Its impartiality when it comes to the advocacy of human rights, have made it among the most prominent human rights groups. It was formed with the aim of not only defending immigrant and refugee rights but also expose the violation of these rights.
Larkin and Lacey Frontera Fund
This endowment; the Larkin and Lacey Frontera Fund, started by Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey, became of great support to Arizona. The two are the proud founders of Village Voice Media. They established the fund with the aim of supporting immigrant groups in Arizona. It also strives to fund advocates who fight for civil and human rights.
The journalists, Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin were arrested on 18 October 2007. Their arrest followed their report on the grand jury litigation that was after journalists’ reports on Sheriff Joe Arpaio. This revelation put the two behind bars.
Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey knew their rights though. They, therefore, sued the district. Their case was a success, and as a result, they were given $3.75 million as settlement. This settlement, they decided to put it to the use of supporting organizations that defend rights of individuals.
